Happy 100th!

Happy 100th birthday to my alma mater, Randolph High School! Thank you for all the wonderful memories, laughs, and friends that I've made over the years...those moments and times that we've shared in my life are priceless!

I took an old picture that was already framed, gave it a coat of primer and painted me a new creation for my craft room. I keep it in my craft room for inspiration and because, well, it makes me smile!

I'm not so sure what it is about this picture that makes me happy? ....may be, to me, it symbolizes happiness. I felt so happy on this day...little girl happy, you know what I'm talking about....all smiles, giggles, content, all is right with the world, summer day, barefoot, family, being outdoors, not a care in the world, surrounded by people that love you, feelings of safety and security, no self-doubt, no worry... My daily promise to myself is to try and be "little girl happy" each and everyday!

Legally Blond, the musical

Last year I experienced my very first musical, Legally Blond. I love the movie and so I just knew that I'd love the musical...and I was right, I did. But, more than the movie, I enjoyed the company. Here you see me with the teenagers, or as we lovingly refer to the, the "aliens." I decided to sneak in on the "teenager" picture since I still feel like one "at heart."

Mexico Lindo has to be one of THE most relaxing and "chill" environments that I've ever had the pleasure to experience. I've only been a few times, but I think it is safe to say it is one of my most favorite places to dine...I love the atmosphere...so relaxing, so peaceful.
